Statement of Need/Program Overview
Hospital medicine is a critical and growing field, and there is a dearth of continuing education focused on this field. The clinical aspects are quite broad – all adult hospital medicine topics. The Hospital Medicine Update series strives to be the best source for updates relating to hospital medicine.
After completing this activity, the participant should be better able to:
- Discuss updates and new evidence in the medical literature
- List recent guideline updates and recommendations
- Identify best practices for common issues in hospital medicine
- Review expert opinions for areas lacking data and evidence
