Does the price of the CME Vacations® conference or CME Anywhere® event include the cruise?
The price of the conference is only for the conference. The cruise must be purchased separately.
How do I book a CME Vacations conference cruise?
To attend the conference or participate in conference events, we ask participants to book their cruise through our partner agent Dan Guthner at (469) 314-6959 or Dan@CMEcustomtravel.com or CME Custom Travel . This ensures our company can provide conference services and complimentary social amenities to all meeting participants and their guests.
We book our cruises 12-24 months ahead of sailing and negotiate a limited number of group fares and amenities with the cruise lines. These are HUNDREDS of dollars below their posted rates. The group fares are a special incentive for Early Bird registration. They are limited and historically sell out 120 days before sailing. These fares are not available through the cruise line or other agents.
In addition to the Early Bird specials, we apply every PROMO and DISCOUNT available (Free-At-Sea, Kids Sail Free, 2nd Passenger half off, Pre-Paid Gratuities, etc.) so you are always assured of getting the lowest available fare when booking through CME Custom Travel.
How do I book a CME Anywhere event cruise?
We prefer for you to book your cruise with our partner CMEcustomtravel.com - they work with us on coordinating your itinerary and course schedule. Additionally, you will receive a discount code for $100 off on your conference fees and they have access to the same specials provided by the cruise lines and other agents. However, if you have already booked your cruise elsewhere, we can still provide the CME but you will not receive the $100 discount.
If someone wants to join me on the cruise do they also have to purchase the conference?
The conference fees are only required for those individuals desiring CME credit. Anyone can book the cruise without having to pay for the conference.
What happens if I can't go on the cruise?
The cancellation of the cruise and the conference will need to be handled separately.
