This Privacy Policy describes how your personal information is collected, used, and shared when you visit or make a purchase from www.CMEVacations.com.

Personal information we collect
When you visit the Site, we automatically collect certain information about your device, including information about your web browser, IP address, time zone, and some of the cookies that are installed on your device. Additionally, as you browse CMEVacations, we collect information about the individual web pages or products that you view, what websites or search terms referred you to our page, and information about how you interact with our page. If you subscribe to our email newsletter or purchase one of our products, we may contact you for more information, such as work and occupation environment, event expectations, household and family information, personal interests or habits. This information generally pertains in some way to our products and is referred to as "Collected Information".

When we talk about “Personal Information” in this Privacy Policy, we are talking both about Device Information, Order Information, and Collected Information.

How do we use your personal information?

Third-Party Review Services (Judge.me)

We use a third-party service called Judge.me to collect and display product reviews, provide review invitation emails, and manage reviewer profiles. Judge.me is a review platform provided by Judge.me Ltd and/or its affiliates, and acts as a data processor on our behalf. This means Judge.me processes certain personal data we provide in order to deliver review-related services to you.

Personal Data Collected and Used by Judge.me:
When you purchase a product, Judge.me may receive personal information including your name, email address, order information, and any personal data you voluntarily include in a submitted review (for example, your display name or review text). This data is processed so that:

  • we can send automated review invitation emails;

  • your verified review can be displayed on our site; and

  • Judge.me can operate its review functions on our site.

Legal Basis for Processing:
Where GDPR applies, we process this information under our legitimate interests in collecting and displaying authentic customer reviews, preventing fraudulent reviews, and improving our products and services, and/or based on consent if required under applicable law.

Data Transfers:
Judge.me may process and store personal information in the United States or other jurisdictions outside the European Economic Area (EEA). Judge.me’s privacy policy explains how international data transfers are managed and how they implement safeguards (such as Standard Contractual Clauses) to comply with GDPR where required.

If you request deletion of your personal data under GDPR, you may request deletion from both our systems and from Judge.me’s systems. Requests to delete Judge.me-held personal data (such as reviewer profile data or submitted reviews) can be made directly to Judge.me or through us. Judge.me will respond to valid data erasure requests pursuant to applicable law.


Finally, we may also share your Personal Information to comply with applicable laws and regulations, to respond to a subpoena, search warrant or other lawful request for information we receive, or to otherwise protect our rights.

We do not sell any Personal Information, Order Information, or Collected Information for profit.

Behavioral Advertising
As described above, we use your Personal Information to provide you with targeted advertisements or marketing communications we believe may be of interest to you. This allows us to show you tailored content and offers based on your prior interactions with our website or services.

When we share your email with these platforms, it is securely hashed and used only for the purpose of matching you to your advertising profile. These platforms do not gain access to your full information and are contractually bound to limit how it is used.

Additionally, if you are a European resident we note that we are processing your information in order to fulfill contracts we might have with you (for example if you make an order through our page), or otherwise to pursue our legitimate business interests listed above. Additionally, please note that your information will be transferred outside of Europe, including to Canada and the United States.

Data retention
When you place an order through CMEVacations, we will maintain your Order Information for our records unless and until you ask us to delete this information. 

Changes
We may update this privacy policy from time to time in order to reflect, for example, changes to our practices or for other operational, legal or regulatory reasons.
