PLEASEREAD the details below before booking your room as this hotel complex can be a bit confusing -- but more than worth the confusion. It's truly an incredible place with fabulous negotiated rates.
* Rooms must be booked for a minimum of 3 nights (hotel policy) * To book your room, after selecting the Reservations link, you will want to select the "Book" Tab * Please make sure that you select the correct hotel from the drop-down menu for your desired accommodation (hotel details and recommendations below) * If you require an elevator, please select Grand or Maya, or you may request the First Floor at the other hotels (which have a maximum of three floors) * Please note that when you receive the room rate it will be the TOTAL for your stay -- that is NOT the daily rate -- that is the TOTAL cost for ALL days you have reserved * The Check In Date defaults to 02/02/2025. Make sure to change the check-in to the appropriate date - 04/02/2025 (February 4, 2025- reservation dates are listed as Day/Month/Year). You can make your reservation for 3 or 4 nights. Although we are allowed group rates 3 days prior and post - sometimes it doesn't work on their system and it will state "Hotel not available". Do not fret, they should have rooms, but it may require an email request. (they are in the process of updating their systems - but that can take awhile). Simply book the room for the nights that are available (probably 04/02/2025 - 08/02/2025) and send an email to groupreservations.mx@iberostar.com requesting the additional nights to be added to your reservation. Feel free to copy ozlem@cmevacations.com on the additional room request.

CME experience
CME vacations was excellent. I attended the hospital medicine review and throughly enjoyed it. The content was very relevant and up to date . The speaker Dr. Steve Burgess was very good. Nice content. I attended from Raleigh , NorthCarolina and would highly recommend it . I plan to come again. It was a nice vacation as well as we had plenty of time after the conference and to spent with family and had lot of fun! The planning was very good and good communication.

This was my first CME vacation experience . I truly enjoyed my self . Aside from the holiday spirit, the lectures were well delivered and engaging. I liked that we started and ended on time. Lectures were delivered in a non- threatening manner. I will definitely like to do this again. I am definitely going to change a lot of things I do in practice. Thank you Dr Burgess for this. All the best.
This update had great content with up to date guidelines and studies. Content was concise and presented at a perfect pace. The half day sessions allowed for time to enjoy a vacation with my family.
This opportunity is a win-win situation. I get up-to-date information pertaining to all the major issues I treat in hospitalized patients and my family gets a chance to go on an extra vacation. We’re all really happy about it.
Great evidence based review of important topics in hospital medicine
i enjoyed this lecture series as it addresses common hospital issues and treatment plans with accompanying society recommendations with up to date studies supporting said recommendations. I particularly like the mention of new or smaller studies that show emerging information we need to keep an eye out for future changes. Each slide has year and reference to journal article that slide is based on, which makes it very easy to look up particular article if you wish to review specific information related study.
Lecturer is knowledgeable and a good orator, and course is well organized. Informative and with recent trials reviewed. Great way to stay up to date while allowing time to spend with family in a fun place.
Wonderful CME program well organised speaker is very knowledgeable and aurator .I would highly recomend.Information is very useful for clinician and lots of recent updates and recommendations
This is the first time I’ve attended CME vacation primary care and I really enjoyed it. In the past I’ve only attended the all day exhausting lectures. This was much better- Work and life balance. The lectures were evidence based and applicable to daily practice. Both of the lecturers are practicing physicians and were very engaging with the attendees and open to questions and feedback.
The group attending the conference was ideal and location was good too. Will definitely look into a CME on a cruise or the Caribbean.
This is my first CME from the CMEvacations or any vacation type CME course and I loved it! The content is super relevant and is presented in an excellent format that kept my attention the whole time. I would highly recommend this course to all the busy primary care providers.
1. Very open to questions and discussions including following up on topics raised
2. Communication style - emails, live streaming, in person learning. Presentation generally concise and easy to understand.
3. Great choice of hotel location in downtown San Diego Bay
I had the privilege of experiencing a wonderful conference that was highly informative and convenient; moreover, having the option to tour the beautiful city of San Diego afterwards has been an added bonus. The instructors for the program were easy to talk to, and very helpful with questions. I'll do a conference with CMEvacations anytime!!
