Travel Tips
Cruise departs Miami on February 23, 2025 for 7 nights, visiting San Juan, Puerto Rico, St. Maarten, and Royal Caribbean's private island CocoCay in the Bahamas with its great beaches and massive water park
Passport Required: Passport must be valid for at least 6 months after the cruise date. To obtain a US passport please use this link
https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/passports.html
US processing times are available here.

Classroom Attire: Your preference, there is no dress code. However, we do recommend bringing a light jacket or sweater since sometimes the conference room is cold.
Embarking: If you are flying to Miami, we STRONGLY recommend arriving the day before departure, and spending the night in a hotel. Your hotel can advise when booking if they provide pick-up shuttle service from the airport. If your hotel does not provide shuttle service, we have found Uber to be fast, convenient, and reasonably priced.
Disembarking: You will probably be off the ship between 7:30-9am, no later than 10am. The Cruise Lines have shuttle buses waiting at the Port to transport 1000’s of passengers to the Miami and Ft. Lauderdale airports. It sounds like chaos, but they do this several times a week and they’re pretty good at it. You can purchase shuttle passes online through the app, or on board during the first 3 days of the cruise at Guest Services.
If you have an early flight, Uber / Lyft are fast and curb-to-curb. You can save 30 minutes vs. taking the shuttle.
If you are flying out of Miami, we recommend scheduling your flight home for noon or later on the day you disembark. You can catch an 11am flight only if everything goes perfectly.
If you are flying out of Ft. Lauderdale, schedule your return flight after 1pm.
Shore Excursions
We recommend booking popular excursions early - some can sell out weeks or months in advance. If you buy an excursion through Royal Caribbean, they guarantee the ship will not depart before your excursion returns even if you encounter accidents, mechanical failures, etc. It is possible to book excursions more frugally outside of Royal Caribbean but there is a risk of missing the ship if a significant delay occurs.
