Target Audience

This activity is intended for DEA-registered practitioners, with the exception of practitioners that are solely veterinarians, including but not limited to physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants and dentists who treat and manage patients with opioid or other substance use disorders.

• Discuss updates and new evidence in the medical literature regarding substance use disorders
• List recent guideline updates and recommendations regarding substance use disorders
• Identify best practices for treatment of opioid use disorder
• Discuss interprofessional team-based interventions that may improve patient outcomes
